¾ÅÉ«ÉçÇø is committed to a holistic, inclusive and Christ-centred education that provides opportunities for each student to learn the skills, knowledge and values in order to thrive in a changing world.
Our eight values are central to the College Mission.
We value a school where Christ is central to our lives and where Catholic teachings, values and traditions are lived and celebrated.
We value a school where we have empathy for others, act with forgiveness and promote reconciliation.
We value a school where each person is able to realise their full potential through spiritual, academic, cultural and sporting activities.
We value a school where we respect the environment and commit to sharing God's gifts justly and wisely.
We value a school where each person is accepted and loved and can develop their sense of personal worth.
We value a school where partnerships between parents/guardians, students, staff, parishes and the community are fostered and developed.
We value a school where Jesus’ model of leadership challenges each person to encourage and inspire others to be their best..
We value a school where we grow in awareness and respond to the needs of others in a spirit of service.
¾ÅÉ«ÉçÇø is built on a three-fold tradition that began with the work of our founding orders: the Presentation Sisters, the Christian Brothers, and the Sisters of St Joseph. In 1984, these traditions amalgamated to create the co-educational community we celebrate today - a College that honours its past while looking firmly toward the future.
We are one college, structured into three schools: the Middle School for Years 7-8, Croagh Patrick for Year 9, and the Senior School for Years 10-12. This is to ensure that every student receives age-appropriate support and specialised instruction.
As a Catholic College within the Archdiocese of Hobart, we are guided by the Archbishop’s Charter for Catholic Schools. This Charter calls us to be a community of faith, where the teachings of Christ inform our interactions.
By aligning our educational goals with the Archbishop’s vision, we ensure that a ¾ÅÉ«ÉçÇø’s education is as much about the formation of character as it is about learning.
Safeguarding our children is a shared responsibility that includes all staff, parents/guardians, and students. We empower our students to understand their rights and responsibilities, and provide them with clear, supportive pathways to raise their voices.
We strive to ensure our College is a place where every young person is protected, listened to, and respected.
